ARI's Rig Induction Training tools can provide a visually rich, technically accurate simulated rig environment for trainee familiarization.
ARI Virtual Rig experiential simulators provide a valuable tool with which to deliver high intensity, student paced induction training and layout familiarization. A virtual version of the rig is available for trainees to move around and interact with, to build their understanding of the layout and salient parts of the rig. Embedded features for specific health and safety issues can also be implemented, and augmented reality technologies can overlay or link into safety and other information resources within the induction modules.
These tools are useful as orientation and awareness development within an often dynamic and changing workforce and can significantly reduce mistakes and contribute to overall safety of a rig installation through ensuring that all those on the rig are fully aware of layouts, processes and operational zones, including muster stations and H2S stations.
Available both as portable and desktop versions the products can be installed in a training centre or on board the rig itself.
