JSW Jaigarh Port, India prepares for expansion with ARI's Simulator and enhanced port visualisation

JSW Jaigarh Port Ltd. (JSW) developed the JSW Jaigarh port  in 2009 - being the first deep water, all-weather, 24/7 private port in Maharashtra, India. Currently, the port is fully operational with 4 berths having a cargo handling capacity of 40 million tonnes per annum. JSW aims to become one of the most modern and mechanized ports in India, benchmarked to international standards. Its expansion plans include increasing capacity to 80 million tonnes with a total of 10 berths (catering to: RoRo, liquid, containers, break bulk and bulk cargoes).

ARI is developing the JSW Japigarh port from CAD drawings -   thsi virtual port will be a realistic replica of the port once the expansion plans  of JSW is completed. This virtual port (along with ARI's ship manoeuvring simulator) will be used  in training of JSW personnel for navigation and pilot operations.

This is planned for release in the second quarter of 2018.
