Meiji Shipping Group, Japan selects ARI to provide various simulators for its Manning and Training centre in Manila, Philippines
Meiji Shipping Group is one of the oldest shipping companies in Japan. With nearly a century of experience in all aspects of ship-owning and management, today it enjoys a premium position within the Japanese Shipping Industry. Meiji Shipping Group selects ARI to provide a range of simulators to be used in training its personnel. These simulators include:
- Full Mission Bridge Simulator comprising of Visualization Software Modules for 9 visual channels giving 270 degrees of FOV, Electronic Chart System Module for 3 stations, Radar/ARPA module for 2 stations, GMDSS, Anchoring and Mooring Modules, Navaids, BNWAS module, resources (own ships, target ships, port areas) from ARI library and a host of other advanced features
- ECDIS Simulator (1Instructor and 6 Trainee Stations)
- GMDSS Simulator – Desktop Edition - 6 Trainee stations
The above simulators will be fully complaint for DNV certficiation guidelines.
The simulators will be installled at the group's Manning and Training office “MMS Phil Maritime Training Services (MMSPhil)" in Manila, Philippines. The installation is scheduled for completion Q4 of 2017.
