HIMT, India purchases MCA complaint Compact High Voltage Simulator from ARI Simulation

Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training (HIMT), Chennai, India , a Bureau Veritas certified maritime educational institution, selects ARI to provide a compact High Voltage simulator. Thus adding anothe simulator to the wide range of simulators that it already has from ARI which includes Engine Room Simulator (ERS), Full Mission Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator (LCHS), ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aids), etc. 

This High Voltage simulator will be integrated to ABB supplied  VCB and switchboard panels. It will also include four desktop based trainee stations. The ARI High Voltage Simulator replicates the functioning of a high voltage main switchboard and distribution system of modern vessels equipped with high voltage generation and switchboard. 

The simulator installation will help HIMT to impart high voltage training objectives complaint to MCA standards, which is an essential requirement for seafarers seeking certification joining a high voltage ship.

The installation will be completed with a month's time.
